ENTERPRISE COMMUNITY PARTNERS GRANTS PROGRAM
As part of our ongoing commitment to develop and preserve affordable housing and sustainable communities, Enterprise’s Southeast office is releasing a Request for Proposals for pass-through grant funding made available through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Section 4 grant program. The purpose of this grant funding is to support and improve the capacity and production of community housing development organizations (CHDOs) and community development corporations (CDCs). Enterprise Southeast is seeking to support CDCs and CHDO’s in preservation and production of affordable housing, equitable transit oriented development and supportive housing initiatives focused on mitigating homelessness.
This is an integrated Request for Proposals (RFP) that combines priorities and funding from Enterprise’s national initiatives and the Southeast market. The RFP will cover eight program areas: 1. Building sustainable organizations and real estate portfolios2. Neighborhood-scale green projects3. Equitable transit-oriented development4. Affordable housing design5. Community revitalization6. Health and housing7. Homelessness 8. Integration and innovation, which will provide holistic support to activities that span multiple programs areas covered in RFP.This is a competitive RFP and ALL responses are due by Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at 5 pm. Organizations may apply for up to $150,000 across a maximum of three grant program areas. All application instructions and forms are available online.
